Exciting things are happening in Texas! As the people's movements continue to grow, organize, and network here and around the country, 2012 Green Party Presidential candidate Jill Stein is touring Texas to assess conditions and activist's sentiments in consideration of another 2016 Presidential run.

Dr. Stein will begin her tour as a featured speaker at the SXSW Ecosocialist Conference February 20-22 at the University of North Texas in Denton. From there she will travel to Houston to address a meeting of the Harris County Green Party, take a tour of fence line communities with Texas Environmental Justice Advocacy Services, and visit USW members striking over safety concerns at the local petrochemical refineries.

On Tuesday February 24th, Dr. Stein has speaking engagements at Texas A&M in College Station and at Kingwood Lone Star College. From there she will travel on to Laredo to meet with residents of the Rio Grande Valley and discuss immigration, environmental, and other issues which impact their lives.

Dr. Stein's tour is still evolving, and more engagements may be added, so please check the calendar to stay up to date.
