Thank you for your interest in making Texas a better place. We are the electoral arm of the peace, social justice, and sustainable living movements in Texas.

We have many activities going on around the state. In Austin we endorsed and spoke at the Troops Out Now pro-peace rally on January 27. Our unanimous voice for peace can also be heard with the Houston Roadway bloggings. Please see the Houston Honks 4 Peace and Impeachment videos. Many of us have banded together with other groups to stop the grandfathering of the newly proposed coal plants and to stop the toll-road boondoggle. We have legislative lobbying efforts on the coal plants, removal of the unconstitutional ballot-access "primary screen-out" restrictions, paper verifiable ballot voting records, and on renewable energy. We are also working toward getting clean drinking water for the city of Marlin, Texas, which has been cited 180 times for outstanding, alleged violations and 10 alleged violations since 2001.

More and more Americans are coming to the same realization that you have, that freedom from the current duopoly political system will not come for free. We know that our time and efforts NOW are fundamental to ensuring a sustainable future for the planet and all life. All across America, Greens are getting elected like never before as more voters cast in favor of peace, a living wage, social justice, sustainability, and true equality for all.
