And next week in Houston, on August 6, we will be nominating that person.

The frontrunner is Jill Stein, but there are six other candidates seeking the nomination, five were on the TX ballot in March at the conventions.

Thursday Aug 4 will be workshops and the opening event at 630p

The featured speakers will include Keli Yen and YahNé Ndgo.

Keli Yen has been serving as the Coordinator of the Global Greens since November 2015. YanNé Ndgo, one of the leaders of the Bernie or Bust movement, has endorsed Jill Stein for President.

Friday, Aug 5, platform hearings, workshops, and a National Committee meeting

Saturday is the main event: 830a start PotUS candidates, Dr. Cornel West speaks,vote on platform and vote on PotUS roll call 2:15p

Sunday are various boring working committee meetings

Pacifica Saturday 8/6 from 2 PM ET to 6 PM ET on all of its stations:
WBAI in New York, 95.5 FM, WPFW in Washington, DC, 89.3 FM, KPFT in Houston, 90.1 FM, KPFK in Los Angeles, 90.7 FM, KPFA in Berkeley, 94.7 FM, and will be carried by many of its affiliates throughout the country.  It will be available live on the internet at KPFT.org 
The broadcast will carry much of the convention live, including keynote speeches by YahNe Ndgo, Cornell West and presumptive presidential nominee Jill Stein.
The coverage will include  much of the events of Thursday and Friday including the platform along with interviews of people involved in the proceedings.
The four hours will give an in depth  picture of the Green Party, its activities and impact on the 2016 presidential election along with features and commentary from experts in history and politics.
