GPTX SEC has set the date of the 2021 Annual State Meeting as June 26 & 27. Further details will be forthcoming, but the meeting business will include platform updates, bylaw amendments, and election of national party delegates as well as seven of nine officer roles on the SEC .

Platform & Bylaw Amendment submissions are due 45 days before the meeting, by May 12. Lists of delegates from local affiliates and delegate registrations are due 25 days before the meeting, by June 1. Meeting registration fee of $40 donation will include a GPTX t-shirt; please specify size.

Meeting Agenda packet & Amendment Submissions will be hosted for comment by registered delegates on this website after the submission deadline so that amendments may be voted up or down at the meeting rather than edited at length.

Individuals wishing to stand for election as party officers should send their profile information to the party secretary for inclusion in the meeting packet.

This ASM will be crucial in defining and solidifying GPTX as an organization going forward. If you truly want to grow Greens in Texas, now is the time to help build the capacity we have lacked to plug in volunteers. The best way to become involved is to connect with the SEC on our next monthly meeting, which will be Feb 21. The SEC meets monthly every 3rd Sunday at 7pm central.
