North Dallas / Collin Greens
Join the Greens of North Dallas / Collin County to make some posters in reflection of Juneteenth & Pride Month.
We will be providing posters and drawing materials to make a creative work of your choosing.
(If you would like to donate supplies of poster board and markers, we would be very grateful! Everything we do is brought to you by volunteers' personal dollars and time.)
Plan to discuss topics related to Pride and Juneteenth so that we can learn together as a community. Feel free to recommend your own topics for discussion!
Families are welcome! Please use your own discretion to decide if these topics are "appropriate" for your children. We do not plan to be inappropriate in our discussions, but we will also not ignore or apply morality to topics out of conservative conceptions of "appropriateness". This will be a safe space to ask questions in good faith. Come with an open mind, open ears, and an open heart.
